Our Learning We were so excited to be back at school this week despite the cold temperatures! Math: In math this week we reviewed adding to 10 using number lines, blocks, and counters to remind our brains of what we learned before the holiday break. Then we started trying to add numbers all the way up to 20! It is definitely harder adding bigger numbers, but it is also more exciting! Writing: In writing this week we learned about writing letters. We learned that letters were one of the main ways people used to communicate over long distances before phones and technology were invented. We wrote letters to Miss. Tucker to tell her what we did over the break and then we got to write a letter to a friend in the class! We are still working hard on including spaces and periods in our sentences!
